Welcome to Adventures as Max!
Adventures as Max started many years ago as a bed time story when our oldest son was about 2 years old. After an epic battle between a brave young knight and a dragon protecting jelly beans in a castle, Max the dragon, who coincidentally has a lot of the same characteristics as me (dad) became a family pet and went on to explore many far away kingdoms with the brave young knights. As the kingdom grew to two, three, four, five sons the legacy as Max has carried on.
As a dad of 5 boys ranging in ages from 2 months to 12 years, Max means many different things now. Our adventures still include fun bed time stories and flying on max in hotel pools as “water Max”, but also includes coaching their sports teams, taking them hunting & fishing, teaching through projects and teaching them life lessons to develop good men. Individually, my adventures as Max include being a loving husband & father, IT management professional and a wanna be modern day homesteader & Maker (I’m the dreamer in our family). All of these interests drive the content you can expect to see here and whether you’re a parent or not, you’ll find something for you. I hope you enjoy!
